The Tashabbus competition is a significant event for entrepreneurs of small business and private entrepreneurship, it is a support for the development of entrepreneurship in Uzbekistan. This competition has been held since 1995.

In early March, the district and city stages of the competition were held, the winners of which received the right to speak at the regional stage. The most worthy and successful participants of the regional stage (more than 40 entrepreneurs, farmers and artisans) went to the republican stage of the Tashabbus 2016 competition. This year, the winners were determined in three main categories: “The Best Entrepreneur of the Year”, “The Best Farmer of the Year”, “The Best Craftsman of the Year”, as well as in seven special nominations: “The Youngest Entrepreneur of the Year”, “The Best Woman- Entrepreneur of the Year ”,“ The Best Innovative Project ”,“ The Best Employer for Youth ”,“ The Best Family Business ”,“ My Homeland is My Pride ”and“ The Best Craftsman for the Creation of the Teacher-Pupil School ”.
